What a difference a weekend makes!

I flew to Colorado Thursday to check in on my LEED certified Platinum house project.  It was a pivotal week in construction; the drywall went up and it was last call for changes.  We changed the stone stack on the facade, as well as added radiant heating tubes underneath the exterior driveway.

The house features jutting cedar volumes juxtaposed against sheer grey stucco.    The master suite is an open plan with glass curtainwall overlooking the Denver skyline.   The rooftop has a private hottub, manicured roof garden & dining patio with the best views in Denver.

The travertine clad bathroom features the Kohler SOK tub & Laminar Flow spout mounted on the ceiling above.

And the best reward for a hard day’s work… a Spa Weekend at the Four Seasons Vail!  On Friday, we received 12 inches of pure powder.  Perfect conditions, I’m told.   Translation to a southern girl – (re: I don’t ski.  What kind of lift are you talking about?) Perfect conditions for a sauna, massage & a glass of champagne.  xoEB
